John was born during 1812 and died in Jamestown South Australia in 1904
Anne was born in Co Clare Ireland during 1815

They are buried in Saddleworth St Stephen's Catholic Cemetery in South Australia

James Meers and Judith Meers (nee ???)

James was born in Clare Ireland during 1816 and Judith was born during 1823

The couple arrived in Port Adelaide on 5th November 1849, and the passenger list states that at this time James was thirty three years old and Judith was twenty two
However, Judith's death is recorded on her headstone as being on 8th October 1907 when she was eighty four which means that she was around twenty six years of age when they arrived in Australia

They travelled on the barque "Constance" and were accompanied by their children Elizabeth who was two years old and John who was one

When he emmigrated, John had been working as a shepherd

After their arrival, the family first settled at Dry Creek South Australia

Judith died on 8th October 1907 at the age of eighty four ... she is buried at Carrieton Cemetery in South Australia

I have a copy of Daniel's birth certificate here somewhere, but it doesn't give a mother's name ... only the father, James
And Daniel's death certificate states he was born at Dry Creek

John McCabe was born in 1815 in Tipperary and was christened on 2nd March 1816 and came from Cavan Ireland, and Ellen Frost was born during 1826 in Killaloe / Sixmilebridge County Clare Ireland
She came to Adelaide around 1847 and married John McCabe

The family lived and worked in Carrieton and Yanyarrie South Australia

John died on 2nd August 1888 and Ellen died on 7th February 1898 and they are buried together in Carrieton Cemetery

His death recorded in the South Australian Death, 1906-1915, Book 374, Page 220 - died 10th May 1913
The cause of death is listed as carcinoma of liver and stomach
He is buried in the Carrieton Cemetery

A member of a family BIERWIRTH (Bierwoth/Bierwith?) who arrived in Adelaide South Australia on 2nd January 1855 on board the "JOHAN CESAR" - Moller, Master
It had departed Hamburg, Germany on 9th October 1854

Born in Brightom South Australia on 20th October 1844
Married at the age of sixteen years to Thaddeus McInerney of Limerick in 1861
Thaddeus took up farm land at Manoora, South Australia
He was thrown from a horse there and killed instantly leaving Mary with six young McInerneys
Mary married again in 1871 to a German migrant named
Wilhelm Carl Bierwirth (by common practice the name became William Beerworth)
Mary and her six children together with the husband left Manoora and went North in the big land rush in the 1870's
They took up farm land at Boolcunda about eighteen miles east of Quorn, and lived there for many years
Another six children were born to Mary, twelve children in all - six McInerneys and six Beerworths
Mary Beerworth (nee McInerney) was a woman of remarkable appearance
Her intellect, popularity and personality were known far and wide
A deeply religious woman displayed in the manner in which she brought up her twelve children in the love of God at her knee
There were no convents or colleges at their disposal because they were poor
Not one of the twelve children failed in the teachings received at the Mother's knee
Mary died in retirement at Burra South Australia on 15th July 1921 - aged 77 years
Buried at Carrieton South Australia

Daniel was born in Boolcunda South Australia in 1853 and died 20th May 1921 - he is buried in Carrieton Cemetery in South Australia

Mary was the eldest and only daughter of John McCabe and Ellen Frost and she met Daniel and the Meers' family while her and her family lived and worked in Carrieton and Yanyarrie South Australia
She was born during 1856 and died 7th August 1942 and is also buried in Carrieton Cemetery

- their only son who was born on 27th October 1881 - died 4th December 1967

James and Louisa farmed in the Mt Bryan East area, later moving into town at Hallett South Australia
James then worked with Clydesdale horse teams 'damsinking' with scoops on the eastern stations

James passed away on 4th December 1967 at the age of 86 years, and Louisa died on 12th January 1976 at 93 years of age and they are buried together in Brighton Cemetery South Australia

John Andrew Roneberg was born on 8th April 1908 at Port Augusta

Lived with his parents at Winninowie, near Mambray Creek
Attended the Baroota Whim School with his brothers and sisters

Following his school years, he lived and worked on the family farm and after the death of his father in 1927, he became the mainstay of the family until the farm was sold in the late 1930's as mentioned above
His mother then went to stay with her daughters in Port Pirie, South Australia - her death was in 1977

He married for the first time on 20th April 1931 to
Dorothy Emily Hunn and they had a daughter Shirley who was born late in 1931 at Port Pirie - and CLICK HERE to read newspaper articles from 1935 to 1951 which include Shirley (link to Trove Newspapers)
Shirley lived in Western Australia with her second husband, Jack Holden and is now deceased

John Andrew and Dorothy Emily Roneberg were divorced on 28th April 1939

John Andrew Roneberg then married Eileen Veronica Meers on 6th March 1943

He had enlisted in the Australian Infantry Forces and served in the Second World War

Following his Honourable Discharge from the Army, the family settled in Gladstone South Australia, where he operated a service station and motor repair shop
They then moved to Somerton Park, in the western suburbs of Adelaide where many of the family continued their involvement in the automotive repair industry

Geoff Gerald Roneberg was born on the 3rd April 1949 at the Laura Hospital South Australia

His first marriage was to Stella Polman in Adelaide during 1969, and they had two children - Tony who was born on 8th January 1970 and Simone who was born on 1st May 1973

Following a divorce, he then married
Sharon Margaret Coudrey in Adelaide on 4th January 1975 at Knightsbridge Baptist Church in Leabrook South Australia - Sharon was born on the 22nd August 1954 at the Loxton Hospital South Australia

Our children
-------------------Tanya Mary - born in the Queen Victoria Hospital Adelaide South Australia on 9th November 1975
-------------------Brett Nicholas - born in the Sandringham Hospital Melbourne Victoria on 5th February 1979
