From Geoff to Kellie Hi Kellie ... and I have noticed that you have removed the "drunk driver" post from your timeline After Mr Craddock wrote the about 'the money', I also commented back which resulted in the 'sum people' comment As he is a friend of yours, I thought I may have offended either him or you so I immediately removed my comment Later there was a comment from Mr Allen followed by a beautiful note from your Mum I have no idea if you saw my comment before I removed it so I have included it with this note Please understand that it was not my intention to upset anyone Wish you heaps and heaps of success with your studies and from reading what your Mum wrote, you are going to be a wonderful lawyer one day !! Thank you for being Tanya's friend and caring so much about her We miss her so much, every day Regards, Geoff Reply from Kellie Hi Geoff ... yes I removed it ... it was getting a bit much for me For your info, I spoke to Tony and he didn't mean to offend anyone ... he was joking ... that's how he is ... crappy joke, but !! He didn't know the sensitivity behind the post but I told him I knew he would understand as he has lost a child and a wife ... not the same circumstances though, but he gets it I should have just deleted his post after talking to him , but didn't think much of it Thank you for sticking up for me ... I really appreciate it I hear about 'the money' all of the time, but people forget how hard I am/have worked to get this far and that you don't finish university and cash comes to your pockets Also, I'm not becoming a lawyer for money ... I'm doing it to help right the wrongs, and stick up for people like Tanya My mum is a fierce lady !! She knows that I'm not becoming a lawyer for money and that I always try do what's right She also knows that I'm very objective, but that when the day comes for me to represent a drink driver, I will struggle Mum was the first person I called when I found out about Tanya I was by myself about to go shopping in Newcastle after driving four hours to get there and seeing a roo get hit by a bus It was a dreadful day and I can't imagine what it was like for all of you Mum is also very sensitive to how we all feel about losing Tanya also as we lost a brother two months beforehand (my stepdad's son) and I also lost a friend to similar circumstances as Tanya the day after Boxing Day My poor Mum has been worried about me and how much hurt I've encountered, but it's made me more determined to get to where I'm going I love her post !! Tanya was a big influence on where I am today Her and Bethany actually helped to take some clothes off my hands before I moved And although I had been gone for two years when she left us, she was still one of my close friends We would keep up to date on here and via email and phone calls ... and I miss her Thank you, Geoff ... it was easy to be Tanya's friend and even easier to care about her I appreciate you standing up for me ...
