Power / Squat Racks

Power racks are also known as squat racks, but they can
be beneficial for many different exercise besides just squats

A person who does not incorporate the use of a power rack
into their overall exercise routine is missing several major
improvements to both the safety of their workout and its effectiveness

In a way, a power rack is most beneficial in a safety sense
when the person using it does not notice that it is there

During exercises like the squat or the bench press, the bars on
the squat rack can be set so that in the event of a mishap,
the weight will hit them before hitting the person using the weight

Additionally, you can set the bars to hold the weight at an isolated
point that is particularly difficult partway through the lift ... the
last ten percent before locking out the elbows during a shoulder press,
for example ... allowing you to target your weakest areas

olympic bar = 20 kilo

yellow weight = 15 kilo

large black weight = 5 kilo

pink weight = 25 kilo

green weight = 10 kilo

small black weight = 2.5 kilo

In the above photo, there is 47.5 kilo on each end of the 20 kilo bar for a total of 115 kilo
