Extensions to the Canteen ... #02

It was decided to convert the unused shower area of the Clubhouse into a store room
for the canteen which, due to it's size, has always had a problem
with both shelf/work space and a stock storage area

Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February 2012

The openings from the umpire's room and the change room into the showers needed to be sealed off

The framework has been fixed in place ...

... along with the crosspieces

The wall is built ...

... and the room is ready for painting ... one day !!

Change Room

The doorway from the canteen into the showers had not been cut when these shots were taken

Looking from the showers

This frame was cut and 'tacked' in place and then removed before the wall cutting got underway

As you can see, the doorway has now been cut, the frame is fixed in place and the sheets are being attached

Now the change room just needs a clean up ...

... and it is also ready for a coat of paint
