Sportstar of the Year Awards
These
Awards, sponsored by The Cairns Post, are an annual event,
and are based upon the athlete's achievements for the year 2000
As
the photos below show, Brett was selected as one of the Senior
Finalists
However, the Award was won by Cameron Cairncross, another baseball
player from the Cairns area
