It was quite a hot day and I put on the bathers you bought me and went for a swim in our pool
I even tried a few handstands in the pool ... good thing no-one was there !!
Just about everything I do, say, eat or wear makes me think of you
If I can’t have you here with me, this is the next best thing

I had forgotten one very special thing that needs to be done on one's birthday
"Birthday Burpees"
Brett sent me a text reminding me ... he said he was about to start
I sat there for a while thinking it is too late ... I have had my shower ... I am winding down from the day !!
Then I received another text from Brett saying he was done and they sucked !!
I knew I would hate myself if I didn't ... I think you and Brett both 'guilted me' into doing them !!

For you Birthday Dinner we went completely opposite to Paleo !!
I took a great big heap of fish and chips around to Brett’s place and we ate the lot !!
It was nice to spend the first part of your Birthday with you and the last part with Brett
While we were talking Brett said everything is so different now and sadly it is
We all know you are okay though
You have been very clever in letting us know and that is what helps us continue in this life without you
