"Sunrise + Sea + Sand + Stairs"

Note from Sharon to Tanya

I set the alarm and headed off down the beach at 5.15am because I wanted to be there
Just you and me, at sunrise
I ran to the southern end of the Esplanade, back up to the northern end then up the stairs
You probably saw me having a good cry down there
It was beautiful there ... serene and peaceful
I am so sad you aren’t here for me to speak to, touch and hug
I thought about the moment you were born and how happy we were
How much fun we had and how much pride and joy you have brought us over the last fourty years

Good Morning Tanya ... and Happy Happy Birthday !!
Fourty years old, and as I wrote in this special card I made ... Forty and Fabulous !!
You knew I would make you a card, didn’t you ??
I thought about it a lot and chose what I thought you would really like
I chose some special words too
I hadn’t told Dad about my card and was so amazed when I saw his Facebook Post
We had chosen the same moment in your life ... "The Blue Shoes"
I think you had a hand in that ... I call it a sign ... Thank You !!
Love you more than life, My Beautiful Girl xx

"Sharon and Brett + Breakfast"

Note from Sharon to Tanya

"Breakfast was Special"
Brett came around and in your honour I decided on a Paleo breakfast
And a recipe I had not made before
We had freshly squeezed orange and mandarin juice and lovely cold watermelon and mango
Then we had "Sweet Potato Hash"
It is caramelised onions, bacon and sweet potatoes roasted in olive oil
along with beautiful fresh rosemary from Brett’s garden
When it is nearly cooked you make some space to crack in some eggs and bake til they are cooked
You would have loved it !!
Had a proper pot of tea too, cause you know Brett doesn’t like coffee
It was lovely outside on the patio

( yes, Brett, it is bad luck that every photo has "fork + mouth" in it ... just the way it goes sometimes )
