Emails to the
Cairns Baseball League Executive
Baseball Fields
... Sunday 10th June 2012
I have just been down to the fields
#01
There was a group of 10-to14-year-old s**th**ds using the roof
of the batting cage as a jumping castle ... around half dozen
were running up and down the length of the cage
Told them to get the f**k out and they left ... but I bet they're
back there already !!
I am sure the fish-net will need to be re-supported with ropes,
etc
I have said it before ... and I'll say it again ... there has
to be a "concrete reinforcing mesh" roof up there to
stop this sort of thing happening, similar to the 'walls' of
the scorer's box, but naturally it doesn't have to be as fine
as this
#02..............(see below)
The new canteen roller door has also been tried
No actual damage to the door, but the rubber weather / dust strip
where the door meets the counter has been ripped out
#03
There are a number of pipes lying in front of the canteen ...
and these have been used to ...
........................................attempt to prise the canteen lock off the wall
........................................attempt to prise the umpire's room lock off the wall
........................................not only is the wall damaged, but it looks like the
lock itself has been bashed a hundred times
........................................the lock held, but it will probably need replacing
#04
The young s**th**ds, who will be dealt with under the joke of
what's called the Juvenile Justice System if they are ever caught,
have also been on the roof of the equipment shed and thrown down
the mesh that was stored up there
Here is a solution
If you buy Sharon and me this machine, we will move in as caretakers
!! ...
Update ...
Monday 11th June 2012
Another check of the fields
Overnight, the brand new roller door has been attacked in exactly
the same way as before
And it is completely buggered !! ... another new one ... and
another insurance claim !!
When the replacement door was organised, I mentioned to "certain
people" that mesh similar to that on the scorer's box should
be welded to the drop down steel grills to stop a pipe going
through
Ah well, it wasn't done ... maybe this time it will be, eh ??
HIRO
Brett mentioned that yesterday you called in and noticed that
the lock was missing on the canteen door and that you replaced
it ??
Did you make a report on this to the Executive ??
I guess, for the insurance claim, this is going to have to be
reported to the police ... who is going to organise that ??
Bye, bye from Trinity Beach ... and the Winnebago for me and
Sharon is looking like a great idea !!
