Attempted Clubhouse Break In

.

five photos

.

COMPLETE REPORT BELOW

.

There is a stack of pipes behind the Clubhouse and one was used to try to lever up the roller door

The attempt failed ... so this message was left ...... "Hey ... thanks, Jack" !!

The whole thing seems a bit futile as they had no chance of getting through the steel grill

.

A look from the inside

The two bolts holding down the centre of the door held perfectly

Canteen Attempted Break In ... Wednesday 25th April 2012

Well, what were you people doing between 12.00pm and 4.30pm today ??
Barbeque ... Booze ... Bikini Party ??

We were sitting down at the fields waiting for the police to come about an attempted canteen break in !!

The photos above tell the story ...
1 ... they used one of the pipes at the back of the canteen to lever up the roller door ... as you can see, they damaged that quite a bit, but
.......................................they had no chance of getting through the bars
2 ... a very nice and polite message was left in chalk on the roller door
3 ... a close up from the outside
4 ... from the inside
5 ... Forensic Police doing their job ... but with no luck

This happened between 10.00am and 12.00pm today ... Wednesday 25th April 2012

The incident has been fully reported and the reference number is ...
QP 1200 394 984

As well as the Forensics, a patrol from Smithfield Police also called in
As in most cases like this, there is probably "not much hope" of arresting and hanging those who are responsible

But the full report was made to enable an insurance claim for a new roller door which I think will be required

I have not tried to put the door up ... it is better to be stuck closed rather than jammed open !!

Sorami's Lego
I am sure a "Wall of Lego" which belongs to Sorami was stolen
There were a lot of loose pieces on the concrete verandah and this was also mentioned in the police report

Other than that, nothing was taken

The police were quite impressed with the steel bar grills and thought it would be perfectly okay to just leave the canteen overnight

What is the next move in respect to the insurance claim, repairs, etc, etc ??

Baseball Fields ... Sunday 10th June 2012

I have just been down to the fields

#01
There was a group of 10-to14-year-old s**th**ds using the roof of the batting cage as a jumping castle ... around half dozen were running up and down the length of the cage
Told them to get the f**k out and they left ... but I bet they're back there already !!
I am sure the fish-net will need to be re-supported with ropes, etc
I have said it before ... and I'll say it again ... there has to be a "concrete reinforcing mesh" roof up there to stop this sort of thing happening, similar to the 'walls' of the scorer's box, but naturally it doesn't have to be as fine as this

#02
..............(see below)
The new canteen roller door has also been tried
No actual damage to the door, but the rubber weather / dust strip where the door meets the counter has been ripped out

#03
There are a number of pipes lying in front of the canteen ... and these have been used to ...
........................................attempt to prise the canteen lock off the wall
........................................attempt to prise the umpire's room lock off the wall
........................................not only is the wall damaged, but it looks like the lock itself has been bashed a hundred times
........................................the lock held, but it will probably need replacing

#04
The young s**th**ds, who will be dealt with under the joke of what's called the Juvenile Justice System if they are ever caught, have also been on the roof of the equipment shed and thrown down the mesh that was stored up there

Here is a solution
If you buy Sharon and me this machine, we will move in as caretakers !! ...

Update ... Monday 11th June 2012

Another check of the fields

Overnight, the brand new roller door has been attacked in exactly the same way as before
And it is completely buggered !! ... another new one ... and another insurance claim !!

When the replacement door was organised, I mentioned to "certain people" that mesh similar to that on the scorer's box should be welded to the drop down steel grills to stop a pipe going through
Ah well, it wasn't done ... maybe this time it will be, eh ??

HIRO
Brett mentioned that yesterday you called in and noticed that the lock was missing on the canteen door and that you replaced it ??
Did you make a report on this to the Executive ??

I guess, for the insurance claim, this is going to have to be reported to the police ... who is going to organise that ??

Bye, bye from Trinity Beach ... and the Winnebago for me and Sharon is looking like a great idea !!

Update ... Tuesday 12th June 2012

I made the Police Report by phone today

Incident on Sunday 10th June 2012
........................................damage to locks on umpire's room and canteen
........................................general vandalism
........................................Police Report Number = QP 1200 559 474

Incident on Monday 11th June 2012
........................................damage to roller door
........................................Police Report Number = QP 1200 559 439

During the afternoon, I met a Police Patrol at the fields and they inspected the damage
A Forensic Unit also arrived but as with the incident in April, there were no results following their testing
