Running along the back of the unit, just near
the rear patio, is an ordinary council drain ... but this has
been fully landscaped with rocks and plants ... a very nice effect
and it adds a lot when looking out from the patio ... we call
it "our country stream" ... though it only runs in
the wet season
This "stream" continues around the unit going passed
the carports
While living here, Brett had cleaned up the areas right near
the patio, but the banks near the carport and driveway had become
a bit (no, a lot !!) overgrown and they needed cleaning up ...
it is actually a Body Corporate responsibility but I asked if
I could have a go as I was getting sick of looking at a computer
screen
The Managers said okay ... so away I went
Took a few days to do it ... there was heaps of rubbish and ferns
to be pulled out ... but it was worth it though because the finished
job looks terrific ... as you'll see below !!
All of the huge rocks are now visible, giving a great natural
look to "our country stream"
Now that it has been cleared, the banks are going to be redone
with flowering plants and in a few months time it will look like
a 'prize winning garden' !!
