This mound was originally built
in the late 1980's using soil left
over after the sewerage lines were
laid in the ballpark

On Sunday 7th March 2004
it was "reshaped and rebuilt"
and the two photos opposite
show the finished result

Over time, due to rain, tree roots and soil movement,
the steps and surrounding areas
had become a 'death trap' as can be seen in this photo

On Wednesday 14th April 2010, the steps were covered
in compacted crusher dust and the two photos below
show the finished result ... which is perfect !!
