"End of the Year" Get-Together
for the Staff at Earlville Business Centre
aka ... A Staff Christmas Party !!

A note from Sharon

It was Maurie Clarke's idea to go bowling for our Christmas Party and we all agreed it was a good one
We also decided that after bowling we would troop into town and have some dinner on the Esplanade
That was the plan anyway!

Sue Schwartz, our resident scribe, prepared all the Certificates and 'Little Blurbs' that went with them which were all funny and clever

Of course she didn't have one for herself so I did one for her ... "Run Around Sue" ... which describes her perfectly!

Everyone's Secret Santa Gift was fun and appropriate ... mine was chocolate

After these presentations were over, I was given a little gift ... a voucher for a neck massage
I was very surprised and delighted with the gesture!

The bowling was fun
None us are very good, that's for sure, and there were some strange actions which caused a few laughs!

After the games were finished some of us headed into town for dinner as planned
A few people had to go home
Sue had to get the little ones home to bed and Velda drove in but couldn't get a park so she went home!
There was only Phil, Michelle and her family and me that went to town
We went to the "Rattle and Hum" and had pizza
We went for a stroll after dinner and bought some beautiful New Zealand ice-cream

It was a great night ... good fun and good company
We are a good bunch at the Earlville Business Centre!
