John and Lesley Richards (nee Coudrey ... Sharon's sister)
along with their daughter Eirona and her two children, Bridget and Samuel,
were able to attend

Molly Gore (nee Coudrey)
is the daughter of Sharon's father's brother, Stanley

In reference to the above, this is what was written on the Church's Web Site
"it was a privilege to have two of Joseph's great grand daughters,
his great great grand daughter and two great great great grand children attend"

Ron Thorpe was also present (now aged 100)

A note from Lesley

This is a tablecloth

People used to pay a shilling or two to have someone work their names
and the money would go to the war effort or some fundraising activity that was on at the time

No-one at the church seemed to know when it had been worked

There is no indication of what the names in 'yellow' signify
Maybe a larger donation ?? ... or did they just run out of blue thread !!
