A question I sent to the seller during the auction
Hi, and this is a nice looking clock
You did not mention it in your action description,
so I am writing to ask if it keeps perfect time?
We have recently bought a couple of 'bad-ones' that were listed
as being reliable
but were losing about ten minutes a day!!
We don't want to do that again
Regards, Geoff
......and the reply
Geoff
This clock used to be in our kitchen,
but since my dad died we have not used it
It worked well then
I am testing it now and seems fine
But it will take a while to see if it will lose or gain time,
so I cannot say for sure

Auction #01
This auction, and
the one we bid on, were listed at the same time
The clock below finished before ours, but I did not bid on it
because there
are some scratches/damage as the seller mentions in the description
The clock faces look to be exactly the same,
and each has the name "Sectric" on the face
Difference #01 - from the photos of the back of
the clocks,
ours was made by "S Smith and Sons (England) Ltd"
whereas this one is stamped "Smiths Clocks and Watches
Ltd"
Difference #02 - the cords exit from different place
on the backs of the clocks
Note #01 - this auction mentions that it "keeps
time wonderfully"
I hope I haven't bought another 'dud' for the sake of a
few scratches!!!
Fabulous Vintage
Smiths Electric Wall Clock
This is
a wonderful Smiths wall clock
The dial is stamped - Smiths Sectric Made In Great Britain
It is made from a hard plastic and measures 21cm square
This clock is in perfect working condition keeping time wonderfully
It does have a few scratches here and there but in my opinion
nothing major at all
It is black in colour with silver coloured numbers
Item location - Castle
Hill, Australia
