Relaxing at Home!!!

Wednesday 14th May 2003 and we were having a peaceful evening at home
Sharon was getting dinner ready, and I was watching television

Steak was on the menu, and Sharon was using the stove griller to get it ready
One side of the meat was done, and it was time to turn it over
"The Cook" used a pair of oven mitts to take out the tray
Flipped over the meat and put the tray back in the griller
and came into the lounge to sit down for a few minutes

NEXT MINUTE THE PLACE IS FULL OF SMOKE AND FUMES!!!

She used the mitts to handle the hot tray
but left one in the griller (how she did this I have no idea!!!)

And the photo shows it burning away

Anyway, there is panic!!!
Sharon is trying to get the dish out to throw it in the sink
I headed off to get the digital camera - the moment had to be recorded!!!

NOTE #1 - these mitts have now been added to the long list of items Sharon has burnt up!!!
......including plastic jugs, tea towells, bags, etc, etc.....and most of the stuff she cooks anyway!!!
(boy, that's a nasty thing to say!!!)
NOTE #2 - she ate the "oven-mitt-flavoured" steak!!! - I decided I wasn't hungry!!!
