Well Brett - it was a great day!
We picked Tanya up,
and arrived at the Lakes at about 7.30am so we could take Dad for a walk and show him where we want to live!!
Started at about 8.00am with a warm up.
I did bike riding and then circuit training.
Sonya took some photos including one of me boxing!!
We then went power walking through the gardens and on the boardwalk and came back and did aqua aerobics.
We were stuffed!!
So we had "brunch" in the restuarant and it was very, very yummy.
Then the good stuff started!
I had a facial.
The girl asked how long since I had one and I said 15 years and she was horrified!
It was very nice and my skin felt as smooth as a babies bottom - notice I said felt like, not looked like!!
Next was a full body massage and that was "to die for". It just felt so good.
The girl who did it was a tiny little Japanese girl but she was a strong as an ox.
You always said a massage was good - might have to treat you to one when you come home!
Next - 20mins in a spa bath - very relaxing!
Then a Vichy shower which is a full body exfoliation - in a dark room with arometherapy and candles.
The girl rubs rough stuff all over you while massaging and then washes it off with lovely hot water - wonderful.
I am running out of all the good words!!
Next I could have a sauna and I went in but only lasted 10 minutes - it was too hot.
So I had a shower and got dressed and went out and had my hair washed while sitting in a vibrating chair watching the football and then had it blow waved.
When we were all done we down to the restuarant and had some cocktails.
I had two Midori splices and they taste exactly like those lime splice ice creams you buy at the shop
When I ordered the second one I asked for another dob of cream and he did that and it was very smooooth!
We all looked gorgeous - felt gorgeous and had a great girlie day - lots of gossip and giggling!
I bought myself a new outfit - you're such a snob about clothes I shouldn't tell you I found them at the Red Cross hall at Trinity Beach - $3.00 for the top and $3.00 for the bottom - They are top Brand names and there is nothing wrong with them.
I wasn't looking for anything but there they were!!
