I’m afraid I’ve had to cancel the Road Safety Expo with the schools this year due to unforeseen circumstances
I know you remain keen to support police with road safety messages to schools and community groups
and we will certainly be in touch when next our office conducts further Presentations of this nature
I would, however, like to pass on your particulars to Sergeant Scott Ezard and his team at the Forensic Crash Unit here in Cairns
as I know they continue to go out to schools to do Presentations
Thank you once again, Sharon, for your ongoing help to promote road safety awareness on our roads
I will no doubt be in touch once we have another opportunity to work together

Friday 11th May marks Five Years since Tanya was taken from us ... I can hardly believe it
It all seems as though it was yesterday ... we miss her so much
I can’t do much but if I can make one person make a good decision
because they have heard me speak about Tanya and us, I am happy to participate !!

I can’t believe it’s been Five Years either
I drive past Tanya’s Bike every day on my way home from work ... sometimes twice if I’m collecting kids from school
and remember her and you each day so you are all never far from my thoughts
I know you have already made a difference to at least thirteen hundred lives
(that’s how many EXPO participants we’ve had to date since you’ve come on board with the Presentations)
I have a seventeen-year-old learner driver at the moment and we are driving all the time getting toward his one hundred hours of driving
You presented to him two years ago
I pointed out Tanya’s Bike and gave him some details about the crash that took her from you
I’m pleased to say, your Presentation is still memorable to him
and he is a very cautious young driver ... I just hope that he remains so in years to come
Thank you once again, Sharon, for your willingness to help me out
I will certainly keep you in mind on Friday and for future opportunities
I’m sure Scott will be in touch in due course ... however I believe he may still be on leave but should be back soon

This bunch of Flowers was left at The Bike over the weekend
Sharon saw them when she called in to say "hello" on Wednesday 16th May 2018
She hooked them into the front wheel spokes so they couldn't blow away
Searching everywhere, she was unable to find any note
