Went to this Cairns Business Woman's Lunch on Tuesday with Emma Miller's group
All 'Ironman' health and nutrition ... very inspiring
I enjoyed it, and everyone is getting excited for the "Ironman Race on Sunday"

Phone call from Brett to Sharon
At 10.00pm our time today I sent Brett a text saying ... "Which country are you in ??"
A minute or two later he rang me because he thought I might like a chat !!
He said he was in Splitz Croatia staying with a friend for two weeks ... and very happy to be saving on accomadation !!
He is helping his friend coach his baseball team ... hitting training mostly
He said it is a 'very nice' place and he is having a 'very nice' time
When Brett says 'very nice' he usually means fantastic !!
He said he was on the beach in Split Harbour Croatia, which is beautiful, with his friend and they were leaving to go to training shortly
After the two weeks he has ten days before he has to be in Rome ( I think that's what he said )
He is going to do some touristy things in Croatia
Plus go on a Luxury Cruise for a few days ... and he is looking forward to that !!

4.30am Sunday here and that makes it 8.30pm Saturday night over there
The Ironman starts in two hours ... has been light but steady rain all night and it's still going on ... bit of a shame
Sharon and Kerry are going to Palm Cove for the Swim Start and to try and see as many friends as possible and say GOOD LUCK !!

Sharon spoke to Mark, Erica's husband last night ... here is what he said ...
"Erica won't pull through ... she had an aneurysm ... there is no brain activity ... she will 'pass away' peacefully tomorrow"
