Here is how the plant looked six months ago and the details can be seen on Page One
 
 
 
 
Monday 16th October 2017
 
There are two main stems to this plant and over the last few days,
the weight of the huge leaves appear to be making the stems bend very dramatically !!
In fact, one of the stems appears to be broken
 
 
Even though it's got a few problems, this photo shows that the plant looks healthy and is even flowering
 
 
Here it is ... ready for repotting
 
 
The first job was to cut off all the heavy leaves and give the plant a chance to regrow
 
As mentioned above, one of the stems was only hanging on by a couple of tendrils
and these separated when the leaf trimming was being done
 
 
Ready for it's new home ...
 
 
... and 'Home Sweet Home'
 
As can be seen, most of the long stem was buried in the potting mix and a few of the smaller leaves were left intact

This "Flamingo Flower" now lives next to the "Gardenia" and "Bougainvillea"
