"Bottle
of Wine"
Bethany gave us this Bottle on Mother's
Day, Sunday 11th May 2014 ... and today, she retold the story
of why she purchased it
Note from Sharon
The day Tanya passed away, Bethany
was at breakfast with some friends - and she received several
messages from Brett
After the second message where Brett said it was urgent, she said
"she hoped Tanya hadn’t been knocked off her bike"
Once she found out what had happened she said she was kind of
in shock and denial
They went home and she kept saying she was okay to go to a party
that night
They stopped at a bottle shop to buy some wine
and she saw the bottle of wine with the bike on it and said to
Lachlan:-
"Oh look, there is Tanya riding a Bike - we have to buy it
!!"
They bought it and went to the party but as soon as they arrived,
reality hit her like a rock and she had to go home
She said it was the bottle of wine that made her realise what
had happened
That is why she bought the wine for us and Andria - because it
meant something to her

from Mareeba to Redlynch Valley, in the Cairns area
Note from Sharon
She also told me that when she was
moving,
she brought the Venetian Mask down in the car wrapped in a blanket
with the seat belt on !!
Her Dad came to help her unpack and when he pulled the blanket
off he said ... "I have to be careful with this, don’t
I"
She said she burst into tears and said "Yes"
and told her Dad that she was crying because it was the week Tanya
turned 40 and she missed her
