Hello
We are on a break from Adelaide staying at Trinity Beach
We came across your Beautiful Daughter's Memorial
We were brought to tears and our hearts go out to you and your family
We felt we needed to climb those stairs in memory of your daughter
When we got back to our accommodation we found Tanya's story on line ... HERE ... and just wanted to send this email to say what a beautiful Memorial you created
We lost our beautiful twenty year old son, Daniel, tragically as well and whilst everyone's story is different, we can relate to the pain
We hope we haven't intruded
Take care and regards
Joe and Giro Raphael
Note from Geoff
Good Morning, Joe and Giro
No, you have definately not intruded at all
This was a beautiful thing you did
Firstly to climb "Tanya's Stairs"
Then to take the time to find out about Our Girl ... and then to send this message
I have got to admit that I cried a bit when I read it
Yes, sad ... but also happy that strangers like yourselves care about her and our family
Thank you again
We miss her so very much and the pain never goes away, but we 'live' with Tanya everyday
Our web site has thousands and thousands of photos and videos and we often look back at happy times
[ there are a number of links in my email signature below ]
You may have seen / read that Tanya was a CrossFit Fitness Fanatic !! ... and "The Stairs" were part of this
By coincidence, our session on Saturday was a 7.00am start at the beach
Below is a shot of her Mum, Brother Brett, Kahlia and Friends when it was over ... I am the camerman !!
At the Plaque and saying hello with the letter "T" ... a lovely photo
Sharon in the pink hat near the Plaque and Brett is next to her
Kahlia is lying on the grass at the front in the striped top
and click HERE for details and lots more photos
I hope you don't mind, but I am also sending this to both Sharon and Brett / Kahlia
We really appreciate you contacting us
Without even meeting you, I know that Daniel has wonderful parents
Enjoy the rest of your holiday ... perfect weather at the moment
Geoff ... on behalf of The Roneberg Family
Note from Sharon
Good morning Joe and Giro
Thank you for climbing the stairs for Tanya and taking the time to find out about her
Her Memorial at Trinity Beach is a special place where we can sit and relax and feel close to her
We miss her so much but I guess like you we have the support and love of friends and family to help us continue our lives
We have read your letter about Daniel on THIS page
It is so very sad
Our thoughts are with you and when I am at the beach with Tanya I will spare a thought for Daniel as well
I am sure they are doing just fine in Heaven !!
Regards
