As you can see in the above plan,
this alcove is going to become a Storage / Garden Shed ......
the work continues !!

This sheet of timber is to be used
to block off the window ... the 'black side' will face into the
room
.
Studs and fixings have also been
delivered
A final coat of black paint ...
... and the window and frames get
a good wash before they are covered
Support timber along the window
sill ...
... and the sheet is fixed in place
A look from inside ... and the glass
and black surface give a terrific mirror effect

Metal damp course to go under the
timber that is fixed to the slab
Wall construction begins ...
... and all the studs and noggins
are in place
Time to start the sheeting ...
... and work is finished for the
day

Holes have now been cut for the
airconditioner ventilation panels ...
... and these are now being fitted
...... plus the doors have been painted and hung
The screen has had a coat of paint
and all the edges were sealed against bugs and dust
Ventilation panels + door knobs
+ latches = ALL DONE !!

point have been installed ...
