Preparing
the Pool Surrounds
The edges of the concrete around
the pool needed to be trimmed to suit either two or three full
tiles
In this shot you can see the line
along the back edge which is two tiles wide ...
... and here the surrounds are three
tiles in width
.

In the above shots you can see that
the area around the skimmer box needed to be smoothed out
and here the grinding is being done ... looks to be a nice clean
job !!

There was also a small area near
the gate that needed to be ground flat
The tile laying continues and the
grouting is also underway ... firstly on the tiles ...
... and then the 'bullnose' edging
Once dried, the grouting along the
expansion joints is removed and these will be filled with flexible
silicone
In this shot, you can also see that
the drain in the corner and the one under the tap have also been
fitted ( I am not sure what the remaining
white pipe is for )
