Moving the tiles to allow access to the roof trusses
Fixing the back channel to the fascia

Here is a look at the roof trusses ...
... and these rafter brackets were fixed to the trusses and bolted through the fascia and the new back channel
NOTE - the downpipe showing in the next three photos is going to be repositioned
The tiles are now going back in place
This part of the work is now finished
A closer look at the back channel
The white spots are tek screws and the darker ones are the bolts going through to the rafter brackets

The Beam and The Post
You can see the bracket on the ensuite wall just to the left of the window
and now Gary is getting the beam ready to raise ...
... and it goes from here ...
... to here ... done !!
The centre post is now in place
The blue chalk line on the fascia shows the roof line and fall ... and this been highlighted in the insert
