2002 Bowman ... #354 Black Signature Number of cards = 147 This 440 card set was issued in May, 2002 It was issued in 10 card packs which were packed 24 packs to a box and 12 boxes per case These packs had an SRP of $3 per pack The first 110 cards of this set featured veterans while the rest of the set featured rookies and prospects |

2002 Bowman Chrome ... #299 Number of cards = 26 This 405 card set was issued in July, 2002 It was issued in 4 card packs with an SRP of $4 which were packed 18 packs to a box and 12 boxes to a case The first 110 card of the set featured veteran players The next grouping of cards (111-383) featured a mix of rookies and prospect cards The then final grouping (384-405) featured signed rookie cards Both So Taguchi and Kazuhisa Ishii were also printed without autographs on their cards An exchange was inserted into packs for Jake Mauer's autographed RC The exchange card was intended to be card number 388 in the checklist but the actual Mauer autograph mailed out to collectors was card number 324 Thus, this set actually has two cards numbered 324 (the Jake Mauer autograph and a basic-issue Ben Broussard card) and no number 388 |

2002 Topps Prospects ... #677 Limited Edition Series of 1950 cards Number of cards = 9 Misc Florida Marlins Team Cards = 18 2001 Florida Marlins Team Photo = 0 ------only have one card and that is in the Display Unit #1 - This 790 card factory set was issued in October, 2002 It had a SRP of $150 and parallels the regular Topps set except for the reprinting of all 73 Barry Bonds 365 cards These cards can be differentiated from the regular cards by their "glossy" finish on the front Though the cards are not serial-numbered, Topps announced that 1,950 sets were issued #2 - This team set comes from a factory set of Topps 2002 cards The complete set was originally sold for $150 - triple the regular Topps Set price It features a slightly better card stock, high glossy finish, and a small print of 'Limited Edition' on the card Otherwise, it is exactly the same set as the regular issue Only 1,950 sets were issued |

Chrome ... #677 Number of cards = 27 This product's first series, consisting of cards 1-6 and 8-331, was released in late January, 2002 The second series, consisting of cards 366-695, was released in early June, 2002 Both first and second series packs contained four cards and carried an SRP of $3 Sealed boxes contained 24 packs The set parallels the 2002 Topps set except, of course, for the upgraded chrome card stock Unlike the 1999 Topps Chrome product, featuring 70 variations of Mark McGwire's Home Run record card, the 2002 first series product did not include different variations of the Barry Bonds Home Run record cards Please note, that just as in the basic 2002 Topps set, there is no card number 7 as it is still retired in honor of Mickey Mantle In addition, the foil-coated subset cards from the basic Topps set (cards 332-365 and 696-719) were NOT replicated for this Chrome set, thus it's considered complete at 660 cards Notable Rookie Cards include Kazuhisa Ishii and Joe Mauer |
