A note from Lesley ... Monday 9th August 2010

Hi Geoff

The two people sitting in the middle are
David and Margaret Peek ... David is holding a cane

Laurel Margaret Knowles (to be Coudrey) is the baby in the arms of her Grandmother, Mary Alice Knowles (nee Peek) ... mother was born on the 21st February 1917 which makes her about three months old which is about how old the baby in the picture is

Actually I could be corrected here
After the early death of her husband Arthur on 13th June 1902, Mary Alice remarried to a Mr Tucker
I am still trying to confirm details including their date of marriage which may have been before or after this photo was taken during 1919

Gertrude Knowles (nee Ward) is to Mary's left
Behind Gertrude is her husband (Harry)
Clive Knowles

As far as I know
Audrey Knowles (to be Hutton) is the little girl second from the left on the ground
Does she look about two-and-a-half-years old?

The tall man in front of the windows on the left of the picture is (uncle)
Norm Knowles ... and he had one eye !!

A note from Margaret Martin ... Sunday 7th April 2013

Hi Geoff

My name is Margaret Martin (nee Wadmore)

In the 60th Wedding Anniversary Photo of David and Margaret Peek, the two people standing on the extreme left are my grandparents ...
Sarah (nee Jacobs) and Richard Wadmore

Richard Wadmore’s father was George Wadmore who was Margaret Lang Peek’s brother

Hope this is still of interest

Regards ... Marg M

A note from Geoff ... can anyone help out with more names ??
