Hello all As you know I love all the old stuff ... including all you lot !! We went for a drive to the Herberton Historical Village yesterday It is fabulous the way they have put everything together They transported the old buildings and put the windmill back together ... it was in pieces in a field There is a fabulous old wrought iron cradle with a canvas hammock type thing which was rescued from the Herberton dump !! Amazing and very dedicated people as you can see in the newspaper articles Lesley ... I think your historical Society would like it You might like to go with your friends when you are here There was a building full of huge old printing presses including one with a sign that said "Original Heidelberg" which was very interesting but it was too dark for pictures Laurence ... didn't you get your hand stuck in one of them ?? It took us about three and a half hours to walk through it all ... we had great fun Hope you like the page and pics Love ... Sharon |
