PLEASE NOTE - there is a 'very complete' and 'very comprehensive' photo and souvenir albumn on this trip by Tanya
It is packed away in a sealed storage box ... and at the moment, it is under dozens of other boxes !!
One day it will be dug out, the pages and photos scanned, and everything added right here
But there is some good news !! ... because Tanya also spent a lot of time looking through the lens of a camera
and put together a terrific video ... and this was handy in a cupboard !!
So now parts of this tape have been formatted for a computer and these are below ... with more videos and photos coming soon

Unfortunately Brett had a back injury just before Tanya arrived ... the result was that he could not play in any games
while she was there ... 'damn-and-bugger', but she had a great time anyway in the USA !! ... this video shows the back
brace that Brett had to wear while he recovered from the injury

Here is where Tanya stayed ... it was with Brett's "Cougars Host Family", the Renners, and their home is in Aurora
Illinois ... including all the Renners, the video starts with a room by room look through the house ... it them moves
outside for a look, where Tanya and Brett jump into a left-hand drive convertible and take it for a spin !!
NOTE - Sharon also stayed here when she made her trip during August 1999 ... there is a link at the top of this page

as they drive into the city
... and she points out the Post Office for Sharon

Next Tanya is on the Observation Deck of the Sears Tower,
which is soon to be Willis Tower (HERE)
It is not a clear day, but Tanya points out freeways,
the Fountain, Navy Pier, Lake Michigan, United Centre,
Wrigley Field, Planet Hollywood, and other landmarks

She is then in front of Buckingham Fountain ... and this is
more commonly known as the fountain at the start of the
"Married with Children" television show
