Squat Thrusters

for Sharon, Tanya, Louis and Andria

The workout for Wednesday is the Squat Thrusters

Do 1 in the first minute, then 2 in the second minute, then 3 in the third, etc
The target is to do 20 in the last minute

Start the girls with 10 kilos on each side and then work down in weight if they have to

Make sure they go all the way to twenty ... even if they miss one earlier section

Even if the weights go down, get to 20 to finish !!

Sharon
Started with 9.54 kilo at each end ... dropped down to 7.04 ... then went down to 4.54
Got in a bit of a mess ... did not complete a few sections ... and, of course, cried !!
She doesn't like that exercise !!

Tanya
Started with 10 kilo at each end ... dropped down to 7.5 ... then went down to 5
Completed the "20 in a Minute" plus all the stages beforehand

Louis
Started with 12.5 kilo at each end ... dropped down to 10 ... then went down to 7.5
Completed the "20 in a Minute" plus all the stages beforehand

Andria
Started with 7.5 kilo at each end ... dropped down to 5
Completed the "20 in a Minute" plus all the stages beforehand

Summary
Overall, everybody did pretty well ... especially Louis and Tanya
I extended the breaks when they were the 18's and 19's and 20's and the entire program took 22 minutes and 47 seconds
I am guessing Sharon and Tanya will send their own comments after they have read these notes

A note to Brett from Sharon ... "I was hopeless !!"

Hello Brett
I was hopeless !!
To be honest, I dropped the first weights off after about the 8th minute and the second lot came off not long after
I just didn't have the strength !
I probably didn't finish about 5 sets
I did the last 20 without stopping ... but only because Dad extended the break to a minute
I didn't really cry ... just got a little bit overcome !! ... plus I was cranky at myself too

A note to Brett from Tanya ... "I could barely wash my hair"

I lost all my form at about the 13th minute so dropped down
Both wrists are killing me .. and my legs and arms are sore too
I reckon I was almost as bad afterwards as I was on Saturday
Even when I picked Errol up from the airport later at 7.00pm he said ... "Man, crossfit wrecked you tonight, I can tell just by looking at you"
I could barely wash my hair in the shower ...shocking! ... it took me until about 9.00pm to come good!
