A babbling brook
.. well, not really .. it is simply a drain the runs through
the Mahogany Village Complex that is dry for most of the year
.. but it has been fully landscaped with trees, shrubs, ferns,
palms, river stones and large rocks which results in a terific
natural effect .. this is particularly evident as it passes just
a few feet from the patio at the rear of Brett's unit .. below
are are few photos, and two of these were taken when Brett first
moved in during June 2008 .. it was dry then and you can see
the natural result of the landscaping and falling leaves .. plus
there are two other similar shots showing the "babbling
brook" after recent rains .. and it did sound just like
what you are listening to as you read this note .. finally there
is a shot showing just how close Brett's outdoor area is to this
very pleasant and relaxing man-made area |
