Since starting this web site back in January 2002, I have designed it to suit a monitor/screen resolution of '800 x 600'
The photos were kept to a maximum width of 750 pixels, with just a few exceptions - for example, detailed maps and brochures

Technology has changed in those six years!!
Bigger monitors and screens, and much better digital cameras ...... and I received a new one for Christmas 2007 - CLICK HERE

I am "thinking" of changing the design to suit a resolution of '1280 x 800' and increasing the maximum photo width to 1200 pixels

On this page there are two photos for a comparison - the first is 750 pixels wide, and the second is 1200 pixels wide
For the best effect, you may have to click on the 'maximise' button, which is in the top right hand corner of the screen, next to the 'close' cross/button ...... this is applicable to Microsoft Internet Explorer users
You can click the same button to 'restore' your page to the previous viewing size
