The Australian Poker League in a mobile entertainment company offering 'Play for Fun' Poker Tournaments in two formats League Events These events are part of the APL Tournament Competition They are held at pubs, clubs and other venues across Australia continually all year round with only a short break for Christmans and New Years In these events, participants play poker for free (or in NSW possibly a Pro Event where an entry fee is charged) in order to win prizes as well as points towards their league standings At the end of each season, the highest ranked point getters are invited to State Championships for a chance to win a seat at the quarterly held Australian Invitational - Prize pool every 3 months is $75,000 The best of our players are then invited to play in the WORLD'S BIGGEST LIVE FREE EVENT - the WTAPL TOC where the prize pool is an amazing $500,000 and first prize is a staggering $250,000!!! Corporate Events These events are designed corporate functions, team building activities, christmas parties, special events, etc They follow the same format as our regular league events, but are catered to the specific needs of the organization Full size, professional poker tables are provided, together with experienced dealers and tournament managers who will handle all aspects of the function Apart from providing the full tournament service, we can also assist in organizing trophies and other prizes to award the winners
