Hi, and the above hamper has arrived in Cairns!!

Everything was okay except for one cup which is badly chipped in two places
I have attached a photo of the cup

We searched the hamper, the box, and all the packing - but could not find the broken pieces which, as you can see from the photo, are quite large
Was the cup like this when it was sent? - makes us wonder!!

Some Notes

Your auction notice included the following:-
(01) "Don’t be fooled by cheap plastic sets"
(02) "No plastic in this picnic set"

I really think you have to be careful how you describe your items as this hamper is FULL of plastic!!!
The Thermos is plastic - which is sorta to be expected
The handles of the cutlery are plastic - we expected them to be china
The containers are plastic - we expected them to be glass
The small container is plastic - again we expected this to be glass

We were very disappointed that there was so much plastic in a set which we were led to believe had none!!
There are "a million" sets on Ebay which are made of plastic and the details are stated as such - we ignored all of them and bid on yours!!

However, we are going to keep it, but it is not really what we wanted

Because we are going to keep the hamper, I cannot really leave "Negative" feedback so I will leave "Positive"
However, please note that we were not 100% happy with our purchase and the misleading auction details

I apologise if you felt that I mislead you in any way

Not being totally experienced with picnic sets, I myself was pleasantly surprised to discover that the plates and cups were not plastic, the knives and forks were steel not plastic, and in my mind I highlighted these most obvious changes to the norm

About the cracked cup
I didn't do the actual packing of the hamper, so if it was cracked it was not brought to my attention
Now that it has been, we could look for another cup of similar type and forward it onto you at no cost?

I felt it was an lovely picnic set, very different to the norm

However, if you are not satisfied I would like to offer a refund upon return of set

My morals are that I would never intentionally mislead anyone and next time I will get less excited about the description

That is a nice note - and it is appreciated

I can fully understand your "excitement" - we also think it is a terrific looking hamper!!! --- but bearing in mind the comments in my last email

We will be keeping it, but your "refund offer" is also most appreciated

Yeh, if you see a cup around the place, buy it!!!
We will be happy to buy it from you and have it posted up!!!

We have also contacted the Manufacturer - CLICK HERE for YIZHAN - so we might have some luck in getting a replacement from them
