These canisters look the same
as ours Set three retro anodised aluminium canisters - I have three retro anodised aluminium canisters that would look great in any kitchen - the canisters are for flour, coffee and rice - they are branded on the bottom of each one 'Raco Quality Kitchnware' - the flour canister is 20cm high and the coffee canister is 13cm high - there is minor wearing to the canisters consistent with age, otherwise they are in good condition - April 2007 There were no bids |
Auction #03 |
The same style - but a different
colour A fantastic set of vintage retro canisters - there are five in the set, flour, sugar, rice, tea and coffee - they are metal and have a woodgrain look to them - they have silver lids - the flour lid has a rougher texture to it, and I think this is because it may have been cleaned with a strong solution of something - there are some small scratches here and there, but this is due to the age of the set, either the 1950's or 1960's - I have not seen a set like these before, so bid now and get your hands on something a little different than the usual anodised or bakelite sets!! - the winner will love them!! - June 2007 There were no bids |
Auction #04 |
These canisters look the same
as ours This auction is for a Raco eight piece canister set - they are anodised aluminium with a woodgrain finish - the knobs on the lids look like they could be bakelite, but I am not certain - there are three large stackable canister with lid - these are marked "B", "C" and "P" - their stacked height is 34cm and they are 78cm around - then there are five canisters with their lids - these are marked "F", "S", "R", "T" and "C" - these canisters are in great condition for their age, but they do have some signs of being 'pre-loved'!! - this is mostly age related as I have had them on display on top of a cupboard - also, a couple of the lids have some flaking of the shiny surface but the majority of them are in fantastic condition - overall, it's a stunning set and you don't often find a complete set like this!! - June 2007 The final selling price - $51.00 |
