From Ed Leipold
I'm glad Brett got hooked up with
the Red Sox.
I was rooting for them to get in the Series, along with the Cubs.
Hope everything goes well with his life, and his baseball career.
He's a fine young man and I enjoyed his time with the Curve, and
watching him play.
Also, I hope he makes the Olympic squad.
You'll have to keep me informed, Geoff.
Just because Brett is no longer affiliated with the Pirates, doesn't
mean I wouldn't like to know how he's making out.
He will always be well remembered by Curve fans.
Give him my best please,
and tell him I wish him nothing but the best, as I do you and
yours.
Take care, Geoff.
Ed.
From John Prosperi
Geoff,
Please extend my congratulations to Brent on his recent signing
with Boston.
It would have been great to see him continue with the Pirates,
but I am sure he will enjoy his stay with the Red Sox.
It's got to be every baseball player's dream to play in Fenway.
On to Pawtucket!!
Best wishes.

From Tom Snyder
I live in Erie, Pa. USA.
I'm a baseball fan and have been for a while now especially of
watching the progress of minor league teams and players.
I've been a fan of Brett's since he signed with the Marlin's organization
through the Expos times,
then with the Pirates team in Altoona (especially since Erie is
only a couple hours drive north of Altoona)
and now possibly with the Red Sox.
We currently have a Double A team here in Erie ( affiliated with
Detroit),
and I got to see Brett from a distance but never got a chance
to meet him, talk to him, possibly getting together after a game
etc.
I really would have liked to have taken a few pictures of Brett
and have him autograph them but never got the opportunity to do
so.
Oh well, maybe I will still get a chance to meet and get to know
Brett in the future.
I just wanted to let Brett know that he does have a fan that is
following his progress in baseball,
and that I enjoyed watching him play in Erie,
and maybe I'll get a chance to meet him in person and chat with
him for a while in the near future.
Tom Snyder.

I hear Brett's not playing for Altoona next year.
See he's going be with Boston's team.
We will miss Brett next year.
He is a good ball player and he is a nice guy too.
From Jill Ralston
Hi Brett,
I just wanted to wish you the best of luck with the Red Sox.
I hope you get the chance you deserve.
While I enjoyed watching you play here in Altoona and hate to
see you sign with another team, you deserve to play to your full
potential and it's awesome that you might very well have that
chance now.
Take care and good luck in all you do!!
BEST OF LUCK to you!
