This article is from the Tuesday 3rd June 2003 edition of the above paper
but I think it should read "six game hitting streak"!!!

Brett went "0 for 4" in Monday's game, but before that he picked up
1 hit in the game on 1st June,
1 hit on 31st May,
1 hit on 30th May,
Did not play on 29th May,
1 hit on 28th May,
1 hit on 27th May,
Fielded in the top of the ninth inning but did not have an "official at bat" in the game on 26th May,
and picked up 2 hits on 25th May.

That appears to be a SIX -GAME -HITTING -STREAK!!!
