by Aunty Jessie to Sharon's Mother, Laurel Laurel was in hospital, having just given birth to Sharon's new sister At the time of this letter, and as you will read below, the baby had not been named However, we all now know her as Fiona!! Sharon, who was two-years-eight-months old, was being looked after by Aunty Jessie We do not have any photos of Sharon at this time, so I included the one opposite where she is around twelve months older It is interesting to read some of the comments Jessie writes to Laurel about Sharon, including:- "she's wonderful" "how marvellous she is" "she chatters all day" "she's so good" "a wonderful child" "orange cordial = nice and cool" |
