Your request for a explanation about why your comment
re a Cairns lawyer was rejected has been passed on to me
The simple explanation is that you open yourself and our publication up to defamation
... not a good idea at the best of times
Let alone when you're dealing with a lawyer who hasn't even had his case dealt with yet
While you may think your comment is harmless,
calling somebody who is clearly identifiable a "low life" is in the eyes of the law defamatory

Attached to this email is a copy of a newspaper article
This appeared in The Cairns Post on Thursday 22nd November 2018
I wanted to know the outcome of the "Mention" in Brisbane as stated
I went online early last week and filled in / completed the forms, etc
By today ( 17/12/18 ) I had not received an answer so rang the Magistrates Court
( 07 3247 5598 ) and I spoke to a Very Very Helpful Lady named "Helen"
She was terrific !! ... and spent a lot of time searching the records !!
The newspaper article states that the "Mention" was on the 5th December
Helen found out that it was actually all finalised on the 3rd December !!
She was unable to give me the outcome / details over the phone
and suggested I write to you and also send these details as below ...
NAME ... Stephen John Wottoon O'Reilly
REASON ... Mr O'Reilly is an aquaintance of mine who I have had legal dealing with in the past
FILE  NUMBER ... MAG-00208232/18(5)

I don't give up on things !!
I was able to find the outcome of the court case relating to the above newspaper article
There are three photos below ... ( refer to above )
As I guessed, it is not "what" you know but "who" you are and "who" you know !!
As in Tanya's Murder, disgusting decisions !!
Pleaded guilty to three serious charges ... no convictions
You can beat up / hassle a policeman ... again, a conviction is not even recorded !!
Just letting you know and please delete all this if you want
Going out to purchase an AK-47 !!
