Hello Geoff and Sharon My name is Marsha Walters I just wanted to let you know that I completed the swim leg in the Ironman 70.3 on Sunday and could not have done this if it wasn't for Tanya I was introduced to Tanya three years ago and she has been such a positive influence in my life ever since We met on Australia Day 2010 while running up Copperload Dam Road I was twenty kilo heavier and she helped me the whole way So bubbly, so full of energy and encouragement On the Monday before the accident I bumped into her on The Esplanade and she ran the last four kilometres with me We got talking about my training for the swim and how nervous and anxious I was By the end of the run I was so pumped and full of determination and self belief I used her words over and over again on race day and completed it ten minutes quicker than I had anticipated !! So ... I hope you don't mind me sharing this with you both I just wanted you to know how much she inspired and helped me Thank you for bringing such a beautiful person into this world I am a better person for having met your daughter God Bless and love to you both Geoff to Marsha What a lovely story I have just posted it on both Sharon's and Tanya's Facebook pages Thank you so much for sending this and for your notes about Tanya Sharon and I are devasted and heartbroken ... we miss her so, so much Your words helped and thank you again Regards ...
