A note from Sharon

This bowl was given to me by a neighbour of ours, Shonee Ives
She was having "a big clean out" of her cupboards and cabinets
Shonee hadn't used the bowl in years
We have spoken lots of times about antiques and collectables
and she knew I liked "old things"
and thought I might want to add it to my collection

Note - photos on this page are up to 1000 pixels wide ... and there are lots of them!!
The page may take a few extra seconds to download completely

---Auctions for similar Bowls

......for a price comparison!!!

Note #1 - from these auctions, it appears that "H & K" used the Homestead painting on a few different patterns and styles
At the top of this page, I have put Homestead as the pattern name ... now I think that is wrong!!!
Will leave it as is for now, but the pattern name is probably something to do with the border
Sharon, some research for you to do!!

Note #2 - in looking at Auction #08 below, it appears other manufacturers also used the Homestead painting
