Antique Brass Desk Lamp

This lamp looks like it will be a terrific addition to "Sharon's Corner"

Antique Brass Desk Lamp
This beautiful brass lamp appears to have been gilded - but I'm not an expert
The base material is heavy brass, and it is sturdy and well made
It is well balanced and not flimsy at all
This is an older style lamp with screw in fittings that secure the lampshade, not the modern spring clip fittings
The glass shade has an irridescent vaseline appearance and is ruffled at the edges
This is the original shade
Overall, the lamp measures 36cm tall, and it is on a 14cm square base
The lampshade is 16cm wide by 14cm long
The lamp is in excellent condition
There are no chips to the glass shade, no damage to the base
It is in fully working order, and was rewired some time ago and is ready to use
The lamp used to grace my antique desk and it's perfect for that because it has a gooseneck,
but it could also be used as a bedside lamp

Ornate Victorian Style Brass Gooseneck Lamp
This is really gorgeous and ornate!!
The base is very solid and heavy
The shade is very Victorian in design with a lovely frilled edge
It has a switch on cord for convenience
In excellent condition
Measures approx 32cm tall and the base is 13cm across

Lovely Ladies Frosted 'Flower' Lamp
This lovely lamp resembles a open flower with it's stem and leaves
The frosted lamp shade is scalloped
and delicately indented to look like the petals of the flower
The gold plated base forms the stem of the flower which is gently curved
Firmly in place, curling once around the stem,
is a further gold plated stem that has four leaves attached to it
The lamp stands at 33cm in height x 26.5cm in width
The lamp shade is 9.5cm in depth x 15.5cm across
The base is 14cm in diameter
The lamp is in good working order and we are including a globe
The lamp has rarely been used and is in good condition
There are no chips, cracks or major scratches or dents
