- The Ebay Auction
Retro Bread
Bin with Maynard Waters print on the lid
You are
bidding on a great retro Willow bread bin
It is in good condition
and has a great print of a Maynard Waters painting on the bread
bin cover
The size is 41cm x 26 x 18cms
A question I asked the seller during the auction
Hi ya, and I have just placed a bid on this item
It caught my eye because we have a Willow Flour Sifter
with a similar painting on it which is by the same artist
It will be sort of a matching pair!!!
From your photos, it looks like the painting is in very good condition
- is this right??
Are there any scratches where it slides open and closed??
And now a favour!!!
If you have a digital camera, could you take a couple of shots
of the painting for me??
At the largest possible resolution - the bigger the better!!!
You could send them to me via email - gggrfnq@bigpond.net.au
I would appreciate this, but if you can't do it, it is not a problem
Hope the auction is a success for you
Regards, Geoff
......and the reply
Sorry for the delay in replying
I have attached the pictures of the print (see
below)
There are no scratches on the print that I can see
There are a few scratches on the bread bin itself but they are
minor
It is a very nice bread bin
Cheers, Shaun
