year

the top
and also a small chip in the mirror

In excellent condition
The mirror measures 5.50 inches in diameter and 9.50 inches in
length
The brush is 7.50 inches in length and 3 inches across
The comb measures 7.50 inches in length
The mirror does need replacing, but still a beautiful setting
With the photo, the camera flash has shown up a brassy bit, but
it's not like that at all

Up for auction is a beautiful silver hand mirror
Age cira approx 1920-1930
This stunning piece is in fantastic condition for its age
The front is in perfect condition - not a mark on either the silver
or glass
Any spots you see in the photo that show on the mirror itself
are dust
It really is in perfect condition!!
The back is showing only the faintest sign of age
But this does not distract at all from this beautiful piece
It measures 24cm x 14cm and the mirror is 11cm across
A heavy little piece at 23.4oz or 665 grams

I have a lovely vintage vanity/dresser set!
Beautiful large ornate heavy pieces
Highly decorative with lots of flowers and scrolly patterns
Silver plated
The set comes in the original box and is in excellent condition
The hand mirror has a few little flea bites on the outer edge
of the mirror itself
These are due to age and are not really noticeable
The brush and comb have no faults at all

The mirrors in the above auctions all seem to be around 13/14cm
in diameter,
depending if just the glass was measured or the glass and frame
According to the seller, the mirror below is only 7cm in diameter
though everything else, including the pattern, appear to be exactly
the same

This could be silver plated, but I am not sure
There are no maker's marks
The set is in quite good condition and would polish up very well
There is only one small defect behind glass near edge
The diameter of the mirror is 7cm

Are the bristles on the brush in excellent condition as well?
Also, are the bristles firm and would they cope with brushing
thick long hair?

Hi, and the brush is quite small but the bristles are in good
condition
However, they are reasonably soft and more suited to young children's
hair

This set appears
to be exactly the same as ours
There are no markings on our items, so we didn't know who made
it or where it was made
In these auction photos, I could see part of the box in the background
but I couldn't make out the name
The listing described it as Royal Glen but I wanted to confirm
that so I wrote to the seller
and sorta pretended I was interested in buying it!!
Good afternoon, and this is a nice set
What is the condition of the box it came in?
And are you able to post on the auction or send me some large
photos of the box
Plus photos of the manufacturer's name (Royal Glen?)
and other logos and details that might be written on it?

It looks like these sets were Made in Hong Kong by Royal Glen
There are a few other auctions above where the items are still
in the original box
It is "interesting" to note that none of them mention
the maker or the location
