Royal Albert "Flora Series - Dogwood" Duo
Up for auction is this really stunning duo by Royal Albert of England
This duo consists of a teacup and saucer
From the "Flora" series, this pattern is called "Dogwood"
With a black background, each piece has large white with yellow centred Dogwoods
surrounded by green foliage
There is also a small spray of Dogwoods on the inside of the cup just below the rim
The pattern is bordered with a thin band of gold
The cup and saucer are delicately fluted and are trimmed in gold
The cups foot is entirely gold in colour
with the handle being accentuated in gold gilt trimmings
Overall, the condition is excellent
There are no chips, cracks, or repairs
However, there is some minor gold wear on the rim
and some minor colour loss on the black only
Bases are flower backstamped - Royal Albert Bone China England Flora Series "Dogwood"
Measurements
Height of Cup - 7cms approx (base to rim of cup)
Diameter of Saucer - 14.5cms approx
