Trinity Park snares junior cricket final

In the Under 12 game between Trinity Park and Trinity Beach...
Trinity Park batted first and had some anxious moments early to be 3/7 until a good partnership between Ben Ryan (41) and Brett Roneberg (40 not out) saved the day.
Justin Ryan added 17 runs late in the order to get the Trinity Park total after 30 overs to 5/138.
Best bowlers for Trinity Beach were John Cantamessa (eight overs 3/13) and Simon Foran (eight overs 1/29).
In reply Trinity Beach also got off to a bad start losing two wickets for seven runs but a good partnership between Aaron Russell (21) and John Cantamessa (22) pushed the score to 2/50 until further wickets started to fall.
Sam Brigans added 13 not out late in the order but Trinity Beach fell short of their target to score 83 all out.
Best bowlers for Trinity Park were Mark Tulloch (eight overs 3/14), Justin Ryan (six overs 2/8) and Jason Ring (one over 3/2).
Congratulations must go to Trinity Park because this is the fourth season in a row they have won the Under 12 competition.
