"Uncirculated
Cards" - What are they???
Thanks to Kelly Gustafson for
this information,
and who was kind enough to forward the cards to Brett
The "Uncirculated" cards are something
that Topps came up with.
Topps takes all
the rookie cards of each player and hand picks a certain number
of them.
Then they place them in a tamper proof case and afix a security
seal on each case to show that the card has not been out of the
case or touched by human hands.
Hence the uncirculated name.
These cards were
never in packs.
They are received after finding a redemption card in card packs
and then going to "ThePit.com" site and entering the
special number from your card to see who you got.
The Bowman Uncirculated
of Brett is one of 762.
The Bowman Chrome Uncirculated of Brett is one of 400.
(I did hear others say only 360
but I'm going by the Bowman web site)
