Later the broadcast dropped out
Had to dial back in
Mum decided to shoot down the shop because we needed milk---got to have coffee while we watch !!
The broadcast came back on !!
And you were at bat !!
The count was 3 balls and 1 strike
Then you hit a TRIPLE into the rightfield corner !!
With another RBI !!
AND MUM DIDN'T SEE IT !!
So you gotta do it again !!
She is home now
And she is cross !!
THIS IS TERRIFIC---BEING ABLE TO WATCH !!

We haven't watched you play for a long time and it was great fun
I saw all your at bats except the triple as you know (I was very cranky!)
I will tell you some of the "good bits" we saw
In your 3rd at bat you walked and when you were on second we saw #17 bobbing up and down at the bottom of the screen taking your lead
When you reached 3rd you took your helmet off and wiped your brow with your arm like you have a million times
It was a close up shot and you looked nice
We saw you cross home plate and pick up the bat too
During the 7th inning stretch they replayed both your hits so I got to see the triple!
I noticed a lot of the guys wear their pants fairly short but you are not one of them!
I think you look better!
Tanya rang twice during the game and both times it was seconds before the 1st pitch of your at bats - How does she do that??
While we were waiting for the bottom of the 9th your face came up on screen and you were announced as the Player of the Game!
They replayed your hits again too!
They had some shots of you during the game and you had a hint of a smile on your face and you looked nice (again)
Did you win money or a free hamburger??
At the end of the game we saw you leading the cross over for hand slapping or whatever it's called
I remember there is some protocol about who leads off but I can't remember what it is - you will have to let us know
The final shot before the broadcast ended was of you runnng the bases
It was great watching you "at work"

PS - I am going over to the baseball soon to tell Anne about the game!!
PSS - It is an early game tomorrow and Dad sees no reason for me not to get up early - I don't have to go to work - I think I will!!
Or I might have an afternoon nap and stay up all night!
