(complete box score below)

Thursday 11th July 2002 - Game v Reading Phillies

Cracked an RBI double, and these are some extracts from the papers and game reports

Brett Roneberg doubled home a run in the sixth inning

Brett Roneberg paced the offense with a run scored and an RBI double.

After that, Pumphrey was his prior self, until Valentino Pascucci and Brett Roneberg lashed two-out doubles in the sixth for a 4-0 lead.

Pumphrey, who won his last three starts before the All-Star break, settled down after the second and retired 11 straight before Harrisburg made it 4-0 in the sixth on doubles by Val Pascucci and Brett Roneberg.

Back-to-back doubles by Val Pascucci and Brett Roneberg made it 4-0 in the sixth.

The Senators scored twice in the second without a hit off Pumphrey, who walked Valentino Pascucci and Brett Roneberg to start the inning.
Josh McKinley followed with a hard grounder that deflected off Espy and down the right-field line, scoring Pascucci and moving Roneberg to third.
Roneberg scored when Scott Sandusky grounded out, as Machado did, to second baseman Brian Hitchcox.

Pascucci and Roneberg gave Harrisburg a 4-0 lead with back-to-back, two-out doubles off Pumphrey in the sixth.

..........and thanks to internet radio, it was heard in Australia!!!

Email to Brett

Heard it!!!
Heard it!!!
After sending the email about the TV broadcasts, I logged on to the "rotten" broadcast.
Sound terrible as usual, but I heard your name.
Put my ear right up against the speaker, and I could just hear your two out RBI double to left-centrefield.
Was great to hear and the commentator gave it a good call, but real difficult to hear properly.
Dunno what else you have done, but the Senators are winning four runs to nil.
Have turned the broadcast off now.
See you.
Love,
Dad.

A note from Tanya

Good.
I called mum and when I said you put you head right up to the speaker she just laughed.

And an email from Brett

Well yesterday was a pretty good day.
I went, as you all probably know, 1 for 3 with a walk and and RBI double.
Things really feel good at the plate,
but I will probably not play today with the pitcher having to hit,
and I would imagine Bailey would play but who knows???
I feel good at the plate
and I will try to keep it all going.
Dad, glad you got to hear the double,
Felt good to hit too!!!
