The Brevard County Manatees and The Tampa Yankees won their respective Divisions

within the 2001 Florida State League, and were due to play-off for the Championship Trophy.

Due to the "September 11th Terrorists Attacks", all Minor League Baseball play-off games were cancelled.

The Manatees and The Yankees were declared Co-Champions!!!
