One of Tanya's favourite spots was Trinity Beach
where she would buy a coffee and sit and talk with friends
or just sit under a tree reading a book

This part of the Esplanade was also important ... "The Stairs"
Running up and down them many times,
these were a part of lots of Crossfit Sessions she organised

New Flowers for Tanya Mary

A 'Special Note' from Geoff

While we were replacing the flowers, a chap was working out on the gym equipment near The Stairs
He came over and introduced himself as Colin Martin and asked about Tanya and passed on his regards

He then told us that he is the one who designed and produced the Christmas Card we left here for Tanya last year !!

Part of the blue card can be seen below ... it is taken out and read by numerous people but is always put back in place

Tanya Roneberg - Memorial Plaque - Trinity Beach

We called down there yesterday to say "Hello to Our Girl"

And we saw two of these cards ...

We spoke to you at The Plaque on Sunday 2nd August
You told us about this card ... and noticed that the one there had faded since Christmas last year

We can only surmise that you left these ... Thank You So Very Much !!

I wrote a note and left it with one of the cards
The other was brought home ... we have a "Special Place" here and that is where it will be kept

If you reply to this note, I would love to send you a couple of photos

Your website is amazing ... so many images and a wonderful record of your family history

My partner Marie and I have been producing the Australian Christmas Cards for about ten years now
We have sixteen different cards in this series
We also paint, illustrate books and earn a living as graphic designers
For about four months of the year we sell our artworks at the markets

Tanya’s Memorial always reminds me that "time" is so valuable ... life is a knife-edge ... it can change in a second
