It was great to just read your 'Taipans' post to Tanya
I meet Tanya through basketball statistics and it was such a
pleasure to know her
My mum, Trish Nicholls, worked with Tanya at many basketball
events, including travelling to Cairns to award her with her
Level 3 Certificate
We have just been asked by the Taipans to come up to the NBL
game next Friday night to work on the statisticians bench
They are definitely feeling the loss of Tanya and we are very
honoured to be helping out
It will also be a very important trip for us as we live in Sydney
and we did not have the opportunity to make it the Memorial Service

and scroll down) so we would very much like to pay our respects
to Tanya when we visit Cairns next weekend
I am hoping you could please tell me where the best place is
to pay our respects to Tanya and say our farewells ??

Tanya loved doing the stats for the Taipans and she had a great
time in Tamworth where she was accredited with her Level 3
It was awesome of your Mum to come to Cairns to award it to her
There are two places that you could go to ...
The 'Bike Site' ... HERE
... which is on the highway
and a 'Special Place' ... HERE
... at Trinity Beach
The Trinity Beach place is very beautiful and we go there often
Not sure if you will have transport but if you don't, please
let me know and we will be very happy to take you where-ever
you would like to go
Just let us know when suits you the best

We will definitely go to both of those places
We are going to hire a car so we will be okay for transport but
thanks for the offer
We are just waiting for some information regarding flight details
but we think we will have some time on Friday afternoon
